Berlin!

This is some of what I saw in Berlin:

Ich bin a Parisian

William comes to visit us in Paris, and we see much of Paris!

We walked to the top of the Sacre Coeur to see the sunset. (That's REALLY a soccer ball balanced on his head as he climbed to the top of the lamp post!)

Also, we visited Sainte Chapelle and Le Institute du Monde Arabe.

We went to the Park de la Villette, where we explored a bamboo forest.

A tip for visitors to Paris in springtime: The botanical gardens are mostly dormant until late March.

Tomorrow, David, Liz, and I are going on a trip to Berlin!

South of Paris

We're back from our study trip to Lyon, Marseilles, and Bordeaux.
We got to stay for a night at La Tourette outside of Lyon, and we visited the Unite d'Habitation and the Maison Lemoine.
Here are some of the highlights of our trip:

We visited the catacombs of Paris, a small part of the 18th century ossuary--almost 300 km total, right under the middle of Paris. (spoo-oo-ky)
